Improved car parking
The number of park and ride spaces in Greater Manchester will almost double. Around 3,500 more spaces will be added at existing sites and up to seven new sites associated with the Metrolink extensions to Ashton, Trafford Park and Manchester Airport and the new Leigh-Salford-Manchester rapid bus service.

  • The new and refurbished spaces will offer secure, well-lit parking with high quality CCTV.
